Training Day 001

Dec.28 2021

Save this and get working on your midsection.

Do you want to become stronger?

Focus on Core and Grip.

This session was all core baby.

Check the video out on youtube here!

Block 1

MY Goal isn't your goal.

60 TGU in 30 min @48kg

That's my goal. That's what I'm training for.

I need to be able to throw around 40kg like they're nothing.

So here I am.

32 tgu @40kg in 16min.

Felt good with it. Maybe 7/10 RPE

At the end of the video I am holding a deep squat position and focusing on nasal breathing. Then once my HR hit 130 bpm I went onto the floor and did some focused nasal / belly  breathing with my hips/LPHC in different positions. ( FELT AMAZING )

Block 2

Hollow position press

3x10/10@16kg

3x5/5@20kg

This is a great core movement.

Tips for this

Have a solid hollow position to begin with

Maintain core stability throughout.

Glutes are on

Midsection is tight

Drive legs together (adduction) and point toes

Neck is not in a excessive forward position and there is a balance between the flexors and extensors

Block 3

3 Point clean

3x5/5@12kg

Very fun and athletic movement, you must have good shoulder strength to keep a tall spine position. It also will challenge your coordination and ability to transmit force into your arm and legs well doing  a dynamic movement.

Pointers

Nail your  4pt, 3pt, tall sit positions first. That's a must. Keep a tall spine. If you're  slouching  your shoulders will want to go forward and we want them dowe. Drive your arm into the ground forcing the crown of your head to the ceiling. With your feet , keep them strong and drive them into the floor to keep your midsection up. Have fun and take it slow. I used a 12kg bell. I would start very light.
